Fall is almost here, and so are seasonal allergies, for some. Allergens appear almost everywhere at any given time of the year, in the form of dust mites, mold spores, pet dander, pollen, insect bites, common household chemicals, medications, or food components. According to previous survey estimates, allergies affect as many as 40 to 50 million people in the US. Pollen allergy affects nearly 10 percent of the people in the US, (not including people with allergen-induced asthma).
